Perseverance always pays, Our Scholar making us proud
HereOur eduCATe Scholar Himanshi had scored only 57.4% marks in non-medical stream of Class +2 because she was busy preparing for nationals. Though she did not score well, her heart was set on doing B.C.A. Each one of us was extremely hesitant to support her because neither were her marks supporting the career she wanted to choose, nor was she ready to compromise on her career dreams.
Dr Jagat Jerath and Dr Jagdish Chander Mehta eventually took the veto and said, 'We should give her a chance. She is an athlete so her determination should help her succeed.'
Pradeep Khanna, Smriti Sood and I were still hesitant as we collectively owe responsibility to how the trust funds are allocated. Shivani Raik spoke with Himanshi and finally said, 'Ma'am let her be, She is crying.' As I was still weighing the pros and cons, I contact Amritpal Singh from Zapbuild Technologies Pvt. Ltd. who offered to get the girl sit through a mini-admission test for B.C.A. as well as counsel her. After spending an hour with Himanshi, Amrit called me back saying, 'Maths is weak but her logic reasoning is great. She will have to work hard but if she does, she would succeed.' This feedback gave me confidence as I knew I could fall back on Zapbuild anytime for continuous guidance for his determined girl. Can N Will finally offered her a conditional scholarship which stated that she would have to score 75% minimum as a thumb rule for continuous support from eduCATe Scholarship. We take great pride in sharing that Himanshi has not only scored 85% in her first class test, but has topped by scoring the highest marks in her class.
